Obituary

Gladys Aguirre, age 106 ½, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning December 9th in Los Angeles. Aunt to Dr. David Charles Rish and wife Meredith, the Late Marvin Rish and wife Dorothy, Louis David Rish and wife Carol, Sheila Rish, Great Aunt to Devra, Marc, Kevin, Matthew, Brandy, Harlan, Nathan, Tiffany, Great Great Aunt to Kyra, William, Forbs, Melanie, and Mason. An amazing woman who lived and died in control of her life. SHE WILL BE MISSED. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Services are private. I last spoke with Gladys at the funeral of her late son Donald (Michele) Aguirre. At more than 100 years old she told me of events in Don and our lives that she recalled vividly. God bless the whole Aguirre family and may Gladys and Don enjoy Heaven together.

Gladys was the mom of a boy I knew in high school, Don. I heard that Don died several years ago, and I was wondering why he was not mentioned in the obituary.

I did not know Gladys well, although once I met her in her house on Troy.
